A Wellington Lotto player will be popping the champagne this long weekend after winning $1 million with Lotto First Division in tonightās live Lotto draw.
The winning ticket was sold atĀ Countdown NewtownĀ in Wellington.
Powerball was not struck this evening and has rolled over to Wednesday night, where the jackpot will be $6 million.
Strike Four also rolled over tonight and will be $200,000 on Wednesday.
Meanwhile, Lotto NZās first-ever Keno promotion will be drawn tomorrow night. Players who purchase a Keno ticket worth $5 or more between Sunday 7 October and 6pm on Sunday 21 October will be in the draw to win one of five trips to Las Vegas for them and three friends.
Anyone who bought their ticket from Countdown Newtown should write their name on the back of the ticket and check it immediately at any Lotto Shop.
